Hey hey!

First, if you're reading this I hope that you are staying healthy and safe, doing your part to break down racial barriers, and taking time for your mental, emotional, and physical health. With injustice running rampant across our country, I've been trying to be intentional and deliberate about supporting my community however I can as it relates to my craft.

1. Over the past few months, I've enjoyed gifting graduation announcements to every single senior at West Charlotte High School here in Charlotte, NC, which includes a mostly black and student of color population. Although they weren't able to celebrate the graduation traditions that they had hoped, these students have been resilient and steadfast through it all.

2. My shop participated in #blackoutTuesday in support of the fight against racial injustice. We muted our shop, turned our profile black, encouraged our followers to do the same...suggesting they use their time to learn more and join the fight against racism in this country. Shoutout to Apple music for their support!

3. I also spent time supporting other minority-owned businesses, including sharing their products and profiles across my platform and purchasing from them. This also included a feature of my very own! (now you get why I titled post the way I did lol).

From Love & Co.'s shop was featured as one of 100+ black-owned Etsy shops to support over at the Mad Mommy Blog. If you have a chance, please hop over to find your new favorite black-owned Etsy shop at the link below. I'm all about community over competition and would love to see my followers support one of these black-owned businesses. Bonus points if you find one you like and favorite their shop (this helps them get seen on Etsy) or shout them out on your social media.

Happy hump day and have a good rest of your week :)
